Israeli soldiers abducted, on Wednesday evening and on Thursday at dawn, six Palestinians, including children, in Shu’fat and Qalandia refugee camps, in addition to Silwan town, in occupied East Jerusalem.
On Thursday at dawn, the soldiers invaded Shu’fat refugee camp, in the center of Jerusalem, searched homes and abducted a young man, identified as ‘Aahed Alqam.
The soldiers also invaded homes in Qalandia refugee camp, north of Jerusalem, and abducted two former political prisoners, identified as Ahmad Mteir and Mahmoud al-Louzi.
On Wednesday evening, the soldiers invaded the ath-Thoury neighborhood in Silwan town, and abducted three children, identified as Husam Zaghal, Rami Joulani and Malek al-Qaisi.
The soldiers also fired several gas bombs and concussion grenades at local youngsters, who hurled stones on the invading vehicles, while undercover officers ambushed and abducted the three children.
In related news, the soldiers abducted six Palestinians, including two teenagers and a female legislator, in the southern West Bank district of Hebron, during invasions and violent searches of homes.
