Dozens of settlers’ families moved recently into settlements and settlement outposts in Hebron, south of the West Bank.

The WAFA news Agency reported that dozens of settlers came to the on Friday at night in order to live in Ramat Yeshai settlement in Tel Rmeida neighborhood in the center of Hebron.

Recently, settlers erected 16 units to host new settlers coming to the area.

Abdul Hadi Hatash, an expert in settlements and maps, said that these acts increased after the Israeli Prime Minister, Ariel Sharon, said that settlement activities will resume in Hebron area, and will remain “a strategic move” which plays in favor of the Israeli government.

Currently, there are approximately 500 settlers living in settlement outposts, and 7000 settlers living in Keryat Arba’ settlement and around it.
