Israeli Police arrested Tuesday morning three West Bank settlers on suspicions of planning to block highways with burning vehicles in protest against the disengagement plan.

According to a police source, at around 4:30 A.M. police received a report of individuals seen switching license plates on vehicles in Tel Aviv.

Police arrived and began searching the area for the suspects. A short time later, police tracked down three suspects in Kiryat Shalom neighborhood, and found material soaked in flammable substances in the suspects’ vehicles.

The Police is currently investigating if the suspects were in way to block roads using burning cars, and their possible link to extreme Jewish right-wing organizations.
