Thursday afternoon, the Israeli Radio reported that Israeli police arrested on Wednesday and Israeli army officer suspected of belonging to a neo-Nazi group.
The soldier, a new immigrant and a resident of Ariel settlement, was detained by a detective squad after his behavior which raised suspicions.
The Israeli online daily Haaretz reported that the soldiers told the police that he is a member of the neo-Nazi group, and that Ã¢â‚¬Ëœhe hated the state of IsraelÃ¢â‚¬â„¢, a swastika was found on his left arm, the police added.
Also, police searches at his home uncovered materials connecting him to neo-Nazi organizations.
Ã¢â‚¬Å“when the police arrived at his home, his mother also declared that she is a neo-Nazi who hated IsraelÃ¢â‚¬â„¢, Haaretz reported.
The Israeli Interior Ministry announced on Thursday that it was looking into the possibility of stripping the mother and her son from their Israeli citizenship.
