The Political Bureau of the Palestinian Liberation Organization, PLO, called on Tuesday for a conference for Palestinian living in Diaspora to be held during the last quarter of this year.

The call was released on Tuesday after a meeting between Farooq Qaddoumi, head of the PLO Political Bureau and representatives of Palestinian communities in Diaspora, on Sunday.

The PLO political bureau released a statement emphasizing the right of return of Palestinian refugees, and the right to establish a Palestinian independent state, with Jerusalem as its capital.

The Palestinian communities in Diaspora and al-Qaddoumi demanded the Palestinian National Council to hold its meeting before the end of this year and guarantee the participation of the Palestinian communities in the negotiations and elections.
