Saturday morning, a Palestinian security source in Hebron reported that Israeli soldiers arrested eight residents, including a child, in three villages near the West Bank city of Hebron.

The source stated that the residents were arrested on Friday evening, and Saturday morning, after soldier conducted military searches of homes in the villages of Yatta, Doura and Beit Ummar.

Soldiers completely sealed the three villages and arrested the following residents; Mohammad Mahmoud abu Ayyash, 24, Mustafa abdul-Karim Najjar, 18, Mohammad Sadeq al-Qawasmi, 14, all from Hebron,  Nahed Hussein Fqeyyat, 24, from al-Burja are in Doura, in addition to two residents from Ithna and one resident from Yatta.

 

Over the last few weeks, the Israeli army increased its invasions in Hebron and the surrounding villages, detained and arrested dozens of residents.
