Al-Quds brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement, and Abu Ali Mustafa brigades, the military wing of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, claimed conjoint responsibility for detonating a military jeep, in the south of the Gaza Strip on Sunday.

The two groups reported that they managed to detonate a 35kg explosive charge on Sunday morning, near am Israeli military jeep, east of the Sofa Crossing, on the Palestinian-Egyptian b orders.    

The fighters also fired at the jeep after the explosive detonated; the Israeli army did not comment on the incident.
