A Palestinian security source in Hebron reported on Monday that soldiers fired and seriously injured a resident in al-Hawouz area, south of Hebron, and arrested him.
The source stated that soldiers, supported by armored vehicles and jeeps, invaded al-Hawouz, surrounded the home of Mohammad Sufian Qleiby, 35, and broke into it while firing rounds of live ammunition.
Qneiby apparently sustained multiple gunshot injuries to several parts of his body; soldiers arrested him in spite of his wounds and took him to an unknown destination.
Also, soldiers broke into dozens of homes in the area, ands conducted military searches after forcing the residents out.
Several residents were detained and interrogated for several hours.
Qleiby want wanted to the Israeli security over the last five years.
