Following the tension between France and Israel that has been ongoing for several years now, the French government has decided to set up a fund to improve the image of France among Israelis.
French will put up 1 million USD and the Israeli government, which is in support of the French initiative, will invest 50,000 USD in it. The purpose of the fund is to inform French people about Israel and the other way around. How the money are going to be spent more precisely is still unknown.
