Israeli Ground Forces Command, Maj. Gen. Yiftah Ron-Tal, said on Saturday that he believes that another terrorist attack similar to Shfa-Amr attack is possible.
During an interview with Reuters, Ron-Tal said that he believes that such a crime might be repeated by other extreme soldiers in the Israeli army.
“The presence of soldiers who carry the same ideas of Eden Natan-Zada who carried out the attack is a possibility I fear it might happenâ€Â, he said, “We will demand an investigation in the coming days to prevent this dangerâ€Â.ÂÂ
Ron-Tal added that the Israeli security should investigate and question any resident who uses the military uniform and weapon to carry out racist crimes.
Also, Ron-Tal added that he appointed a senior military official to examine the condition under which the soldier Eden Natan-Zada, who carried out the Shfa-Amr terrorist shooting, was recruited to the army.
