A medical source in Qalqilia reported that soldiers attacked and injured a residents of Sier village, east of the West Bank city of Qalqilia.
Abed al-Salem al-Sharry, head of al-Sier village council, reported that Bashar Qadry, 20, was stopped and attacked by the soldiers on Beit Eeba checkpoint, while he was heading back to the village.
A medical source at Thabit Thabit Hospital in Tulkarem said that Qadry was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit, and that he is still unconscious.
Qadry is a student of al-Najah National University in Nablus.
