Dozens of illegal Israeli colonizers stormed, on Tuesday, the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in the Old City of occupied Jerusalem, while Palestinian Muslims were restricted access to the Islamic holy site.

The settlers roamed the courtyards the Islamic holy site under the full protection of the occupation police, and performed Talmudic rituals.
According to the Wadi Hilweh Information Center in Jerusalem (Silwanic), 66 illegal settlers invaded the Al-Aqsa Mosque on Tuesday morning, and another 66 invaded in the afternoon.
Silwanic added that Israeli police, stationed at the gates of the Old City and the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque prevented many Palestinian citizens from entering.
Worshipers who tried to enter the holy site were subject to searches and identity checks, while mostly elderly and female Muslims were allowed to enter.
In related news, on Monday night, illegal Israeli colonists hurled rocks at Palestinian-owned vehicles on the Tulkarem-Nablus road, near the “Al-Taneeb” Junction, west of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.
According to Ahmad Jibril, the director of the Ambulance and Emergency Center at the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) in Nablus, a 31-year-old Palestinian man was transported to hospital after settlers struck his vehicle with a large rock.
The nature and severity of his wounds were not known at the time of writing this report.
