Dr. Mohammad al-Hindy, one of the political leaders of the Islamic Jihad, said on Thursday that the real battle with the occupation ends after Israel withdraws from all of the occupied territories.

“Out battle does not end after the Gaza withdrawal,” al-Hindi said. “There are several more rounds –  resistance will continue until Israel evacuates from Jerusalem and the West Bank… from Palestine.”

The statements of al-Hindi came during a seminar held by the Islamic Jihad movement at Iz Ed-Deen al-Qassam mosque in Gaza.

“Gaza is only the beginning – it will be followed by other achievements,” he said. “The resistance and its shells made the Israeli leaders think about withdrawal - this withdrawal comes as a result of the resistance and steadfastness of the Palestinian people.”

Al-Hindi added that the resistance will not allow the construction of casinos on the liberated areas. His statement was in response to reports published by some Israeli newspapers that Israel and the Palestinian Authority agreed to construct a casino in Elei Sinai settlement, in the north of the Gaza Strip.

Commenting on the internal conflicts between some of the Palestinian factions and the P.A, Al-Hindi said that the Palestinians should avoid any “narrow-minded” conflicts that serve Israeli interests and bring about miseries for the Palestinian people who have suffered from the occupation and its policies.
