Israeli settlers attacked residents in Ramien village near the West Bank city of Nablus on Monday afternoon.

A group of settlers from the near by settlement of Enav invaded the village and attacked the residents of the village and hurled stones at the houses.  Settlers also casued damage to groves that belong to the farmers, eyewitness reported.

Israeli army troops woh arrived to the site, arrested five settlers and the rest gat away.

Israel placed the villages adjacent to Enav settlement under tight closure since the begining of the pullout from Gaza Strip and the four northern West Bank settlements.  The closure is expected to be lifted when the pullout is over, local sources reported.
