The Israeli army invaded Qabatia, south of the West Bank city of Jenin on Tuesday.  As soldiers entered the city, backed up by armed vehicles and jeeps, they randomly opened fire in the air.  Clashes erupted between the troops and the Palestinian resistance in the city.

Eyewitnesses reported that three Palestinians were injured.  One is said to be an Islamic Jihad activist while the other two were apparently civilians.  Names not released yet.
