A Palestinian resident was injured when an explosive left by the army in his hands in the southern Gaza Strip district of Khan Younis, medical sources said.

The wounded resident, Ahmed Mohammed Al Qarra, 25, was rushed to the Nasser hospital in the city suffering of shrapnel wounds.

Most of the injuries were in the face and chest of Al Qarra causing serious wounds which were described as “tentatively moderate”.

Such leftovers have killed or maimed dozens of Palestinian residents, mostly children, in several Palestinian areas.
