Israeli soldiers shelled on Wednesday at night several homes in West Khan Younis refugee camp, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

The WAFA news agency reported that soldiers stationed at monitoring towers surrounding the evacuated settlement of Naveh Dikalim, fired round of live ammunition at the homes; damage reported, no injuries.

Military apaches were hovering over Khan Younis, which raised fears of possible shelling.
