Israeli soldiers shot and injured two Palestinian children in Rafah, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

A local source in Rafah reported that soldiers based near Salah Ed-Deen Street, in Rafah, fired at a group of children playing in the area, and injured two.

Dr. Moawiya Hassanen, head of the Emergency Unit at the Ministry of Health, identified one of the injured children as Ahmad Qishta, 12 years old. 

Dr. Hassanen stated that Qishta sustained a gunshot injury in his left leg, and was hospitalized at Abu Yousef Al Najjar hospital in Rafah.
