A Palestinian security source reported on Saturday, shortly after midnight, that soldiers fired at a resident near a wall of an evacuated settlement in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli army claimed that the resident was armed, and that soldiers fired warning shots at him.
The resident was moderately injured; army transferred him to an Israeli hospital.
