In a press conference held in Tel Aviv, Israeli Reserves’ Major General Uzi Dayan unveiled his plan for disengaging from some of the Palestinian areas, Israeli online daily Haaretz reported.
According to the plan proposed by Dayan, Israeli would evacuate from 32 settlements in the West Bank, and will set a temporary border which will incorporate 28 Palestinian villages into Israel.
According to the plan, the following settlements will remain under full Israeli control and territory; Ariel, Gush Etzion, Ma’ale Adumim, Efra, Beit El and Kiryat Arba. While the settlements of Mvoh Dotan, Itzhar, Hermesh, Alon Moreh, Bracha, Itamar, A’ali, Kfar Tapuah, Tekoa, Shavei Shomron, will be evacuated.

Dayan emphasized that Jerusalem will remain under Israeli control and that the Palestinian state will be demilitarized.

“The Palestinians will be given the right of return to the rest of the West Bank and Gaza Stripâ€Â, Dayan added.
