An Israeli source reported on Monday that the Israeli prosecution filed charges against thee Druze youth from Majdal Shams in the Golan, to the Nazareth District Court on suspicions that they hurled Molotov cocktails at Israeli military vehicles.
The source stated that two of the youth are 16 and 17 years old.
Israeli online daily, Haaretz, reported that the three youth were arrested 10 days ago, several hours after they allegedly hurled the cocktail bombs at the military vehicles.
According to the Israeli Security Services, and Israeli police investigators, the three youth admitted that they hurled the cocktails, and also admitted to carrying similar attacks against armored military vehicles.
Shmuel Boker, Israeli Police Superintendent, claimed that the youth also admitted to laying ladders on the security fence on the Syrian border, in order to examine how soon and what way the army would respond, taking in consideration that the fence contains sensors.
According to Boker, the three youth acted on national motives, but the Israeli police do not believe that they are part of a bigger nationalist organization.
The three will also be charged of entering a closed military zone.
