The Wafa News Agency reported that Israeli forces stationed at Tiasir checkpoint, east of the West Bank city of Tubas, attacked a group of Palestinian shepherds who were on their way to the eastern hills last night to herd their cattle.

Soldiers stopped tractors transporting the shepherds to grazing lands east of Tubas, attacked several shepherds, and threw their belongings on the ground while interrogating them.

The shepherds move to the hilly areas during the summer season, and head back to the eastern plains in winter.

The shepherds complained of repeated attacks and violations carried out by settlers and soldiers against them.
