The Israeli occupation forces invaded the town of Tubas near the West Bank cit of Jenin in the early morning hours. Troops surrounded and invaded a dormitory, where students from the Arab American University reside.

At least twenty military vehicles took part in the invasion, eyewitnesses said and added that soldiers surrounded the house for two hours during which they were shooting in the air and threw some concussion grenades, before they break into the house and thoroughly search it.

Israeli military sources told the Palestinian security forces that they were looking for two activists from Islamic Jihad, Noor and Salah Iddin Sawafta, and claimed they are wanted to the Israeli security.
