Israeli border police arrested on Wednesday 76 Palestinian workers including 3 Jordanians during a campaign to arrest workers with no permits.
Police source reported that some of the arrestees were sent back to the West Bank and the rest will be indicted.
The police also arrested two Israeli employers for employing those workers and warned them not to do it again.
Palestinians are not allowed to enter Jerusalem without permits issued by the Israeli military. Most Palestinian workers, however, enter Jerusalem without permits risking arrest and being fined.
