Israeli soldiers shot and killed, on Sunday, one resident near Khazza’a village, east of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

Dr. Moawiya Hassanen, head of the Emergency Unit at the Palestinian Ministry of Health, reported that soldiers based east of the village fired rounds of live ammunition at dozens of homes; one resident was killed, another was injured.

Dr. Hassanen stated that soldiers allowed a Palestinian ambulance to enter the area two hours after the shooting took place. Medics found the body of Bilal Wakid Al Sha’er, 22, and resident Mohammad Al Sha’er, who suffered moderate wounds; Al Sha’er was laying next to the body of Bilal.

The body of Bilal, and resident Mohammad were transferred to Nasser Hospital, in Khan Younis.

“Soldiers then opened fire and shot them”, the source claimed, “The third resident managed to flee the scene”.
