Israeli soldiers shot and killed, on Monday morning, one resident near Juhr Al Deek area, east of Al Boreij refugee camp, in the central Gaza strip; two other residents were injured.
An Israeli military source claimed that soldiers shot and killed resident Imad Abdul-Al, and injured two others after spotting them attempting to plant explosive charges in a street used by the army.
Soldiers claimed uncovering RBG Shells and other ammunition beside the body of Abdul-Al.
Troops fired several rounds at the three residents, and claimed uncovering explosives a RBG shell near the body of Abdul-Al; the two other residents were not located.
Palestinian sources reported that the three residents were not fighters, and that they were attempting to enter Israel searching for work.
The Palestinian District Coordination Office contacted the Israeli office in order to arrange receiving the body of Abdul-al.
On Sunday at night, Israeli soldiers based at the eastern borders of the Gaza strip, fired several shells and automatic fire at an open area between Abu Safiyya and Al Shuhada graveyard area. The Palestinian Ministry of Interior reported that soldiers fired 17 shells during the period between 6 and 8 P.M on Sunday; the shells exploded in agricultural areas causing damage, no injuries were reported.
Also, soldiers, based at an area between Gaza and the Green Line, shelled with heavy artillery an area east of Beit Lahia town, in the northern part of the Gaza strip; damage was reported, no injuries.
