An unidentified resident was shot and injured, on Friday afternoon, by Israeli military fire east of Gaza.

Dr. Moawiya Hassanen, head of the Emergency Unit at the Palestinian Ministry of Health, reported that soldiers fired at the resident while he was in an area east of the city.

“The resident sustained a gunshot injury in his lower body”, Dr. Hassanen stated.
