A Palestinian security source in Nablus reported, on Sunday, that soldiers invaded the West Bank city of Nablus and killed one fighter of the Al Aqsa Brigades, the military wing of Fateh movement; three residents were arrested.
The source stated that soldiers supported by 40 armored vehicles invaded, during early morning hours, the Balata refugee camp and exchanged fire with the resistance. Eyad Al Hashash, member of the Brigades was killed in the clashes.
An Israeli military source claimed that Al Hashash was killed when he tried to throw a homemade bomb at the soldiers.
Also, soldiers broke into dozens of homes in the camp, searched them and arrested three residents.
The arrested residents were transferred to an unknown destination.
Earlier on Sunday, soldiers arrested 17 residents in separate invasions in several areas in the West Bank.
