The directors and employees of local authorities of the Palestinians living in Israel will organize, on Tuesday, a Protest near the office of the Israeli Prime Minster Ariel Sharon in Jerusalem.

The action is a protest against the bad financial situation these authorities are facing due to the financial cuts the Israeli government implemented.

The Arab local authorities in Israel decided to organize this protest after the meeting between the representatives of the authorities and ministry of interior failed to enhance the conditions of the local communities.

A protest tent was installed in Jerusalem by the district committee of the local authorities of the Palestinians in Israel last week to urge the Israeli government to act to help the local authorities in their financial crises.

The Arab Palestinian community in Israel always complains against the lack of funding provided by the government to their councils in comparison to the funds the Jewish councils receive.
