The Israeli army invaded, on Friday at dawn, the West Bank city of Jenin and its refugee camp, local sources reported.

Troops, backed with more than 30 military vehicles, invaded the city. Soldiers conducted house-to-house searches and sealed off the city.

Soldiers also entered Jenin refugee camp, in the city, searched several houses and turned some of them to military posts. Also, army bulldozers installed road blocks at the camp entrances to stop residents from going in or out of the camp, the source added.

No arrests or injures were reported.
