A medical source in Beit Lahia, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, reported that two brothers were killed, one resident injured, after the Israeli artillery fired several shells at areas in Beit Lahia.

Dr. Moawiya Hassanen, head of the Emergency Unit at the Ministry of Health, identified the two residents as Hamza Hamdouna, 26, and his brother Ayman, 24.
 
The two brothers died after one of the shells, fired by the army, hit their home.
 
Dr. Hassanen added that one resident, identified as Ahmad Moneer Hamdouna, was seriously injured in the shelling, and was transferred to Kamal Adwan Hospital. Hamdouna was transferred later on to Al Shifa hospital in Gaza.
