The Israeli army arrested on Monday the election campaign coordinator of "Badeel" coalition, a combination of the Palestinian People’s Party (PPP), the Democratic Front for the LIberation of Palestine (DFLP) and the Palestinian Democratic Union, (FIDA).
Ahmad Jaber was arrested when army troops invaded the camp and searched his hosue in Al-Arroub refugee
camp.
Eyewitnesses said, that soldiers invaded Jaber’s house and arrested him and took him to an unknown
desitnation.
Several political groups and organization condemned the arrest of Jaber and accused Israel of delebrate
provocation to disturb the Palestinian elections. The groups also called upon international human rights
organizations to interfere to stop Israeli acts that affects the election process negatively.
