Palestinian police forces in the West Bank city of Jenin confiscated 13 stolen cars and destroyed 11 of them, Majed Al Huwwari, police department head in Jenin, reported on Wednesday morning.
Huwwari added that the police destroyed 400 vehicles since the beginning of the campaign against illegal vehicles, which are fit for usage, old and unlicensed.
The residents buy the illegal vehicles for very cheap prices, and cannot obtain insurance or license them.
Al Huwwari also called upon the residents for more cooperation with the police in its efforts to impose law and stop the stat of chaos in the city.
