Clashes erupted between Hebron illegal settlers and Israeli forces, on Friday, in protest to evection orders of settlers illegally occupying Palestinian stores in wholesale market in the old city of Hebron in the West Bank.
On Friday afternoon, a few settler youths rioted near the Ibrahimi mosque, and threw stones and eggs at the army.
Thursday night, five settlers were arrested of involvement in causing disturbances in Hebron.
An Israeli army officer was injured while attempting to arrest two settlers in possession. He was stabbed by a needle and a screwdriver; the police believes that the settlers intends to puncture car tires with the screwdriver.
Also, settlers hurled Stones at an army vehicle Thursday night.
In a separate incident, three settler girls broke into a Palestinian store near the settlers’ enclave in the West Bank city of Hebron.
