Israeli troops invaded, on Saturday at dawn, the West Bank city of Jenin and arrested Mohamed Tawalba, 30, one of the senior leaders of the Islamic Jihad movement.
Soldiers surrounded Tawalba’s home and called him out using loudspeakers.
Everyone stepped out, except for Tawalba who was arrested when the broke into the house, local sources reported.
Tawalba’s brother was a former leader in Al Quds brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad, in the West Bank. Israeli forces shot him dead during the Defensive Shield operation in the West Bank in 2002.
Also, Ten Israeli military vehicles invaded Jenin Refugee Camp, earlier on Saturday, clashes and exchanges of fire were reported.
