The Israeli Army stopped on Wednesday the opening of farming road in Jensafot village, east of the West Bank city of Qalqilia.

Troops stopped the Palestinian bulldozers working in the northern area of the village, and barred them from opening a new road that will be used to facilitate the access of local farmers to their land.

Army source claimed calming that the road will be too close to the settlers’ road that leads to Emanuel Israeli settlement which was built on the village land.

The road was funded by the Palestinian Authority, and is planned to be 3 KM long, connecting the farmlands and making them more accessible to farmers.
