Islamic and political parties in the West Bank city of Qalqilia held a mass demonstration, on Monday morning, protesting a caricature, published several weeks ago by a Danish newspaper, symbolizing Prophet Mohammad.

The protestors called on Arab and Islamic countries to boycott Danish products and cut diplomatic relations with Denmark.

During the protest, members of the Al Aqsa Brigades, read a statement which slammed the caricature, and called on a complete boycott of Danish products.

The caricature sparked anger in several Arabic and Islamic countries which boycotted Danish products and requested a formal apology.
