Thursday morning Farmers continue their protest against Israeli closures of commercial crossings in and out of the Gaza Strip, which is wreaking havoc on their already fragile economy.

More than 60 farmers destroyed about two tons of vegetables in front of the Rafah border crossing between the Strip and Egypt, in a move to protest the closing of Kerem Shalom and Karni crossings into Israel, and the huge economic losses they’ve incurred as a result.

According to the protesting farmers loses were about 300,000 USD after closing the only passage to export their vegetables into Israel.

The protest lasted for an  hour and it was a continuation from last week protest  in which farmers destroyed tons of vegetables in front of Karni crossing and the European Union building in Gaza city.
