Tuesday afternoon, Israeli army bulldozers uprooted on Tuesday afternoon 160 olive trees owned by Palestinian farmers in Jamoura Village, west of the West Bank city of Hebron.

The Israeli army stated that the uprooting of the trees was done for the building of the Wall that Israel is building around the West Bank on annexed Palestinian land and property.

The Wall is being constructed inside the West Bank through Palestinian lands from the north to the south. In the construction that has been carried out thus far, homes, schools, land and agriculture have been destroyed.

In an attempt to save some of the land, Palestinians in the West Bank city of Qalqilia replanted olive trees earlier this week, as Bethlehem area residents have also done recently.
