The Israeli government asked the US Court to drop charges against two Israeli army generals on Tuesday.
The case was filed by Palestinians and Lebanese civilians against the former Israeli secret service agency director Avi Dikhter and the former Israeli chef of staff General Moshah Ayalon for committing war crimes during the Lebanese war and in the occupied Palestinian territory.
