Al-Aqsa Martyr brigade the armed wing of Fatah opposition party said its operatives fired two home-made shells at Kissufim crossing between Israel and Gaza Strip causing no casualties, Palestine News Network Reported.
The brigade said in a statement to the press that the unit of "Martyr Majdi Al-Khatib" shelled Kissufim crossing at the south east of the strip in response to the Israeli offenses and the artillery shelling against the Gaza Strip.
The statement added that the shelling is also a response to the assassination of Khaled Al-Dahdouh leader of Al-Quds brigade the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad, few days ago.
The artillery unit of the Israeli Army shelled several locations along the northern and the eastern areas of the Gaza Strip, specifically the towns of Beit Hanoun, Beit Lahia.
Residents of these areas reported hearing several explosions but reported no casualties.
