In an invasion of the Palestinian city of Nablus Monday afternoon, in the northern part of the West Bank, Israeli soldiers who opened fire in various neighborhoods faced clashes with Palestinian resistance fighters. In the clashes, one Israeli soldier was lightly injured.
Local sources reported that Israeli troops entered the city from Beit Eba Direction West of Nablus, the forces besieged the house of the Prisoners Support Society Head Mr. Sa’ed Yassen in Jabal Shamali area.
One Palestinian was arrested in the siege, who Israeli military sources claim is a member of Hamas.
The Israeli forces evacuated a neighboring family from their house, and then clashes erupted between armed Palestinians and the Israeli troops.
