Israeli soldiers stationed at Taiaseer military checkpoint,  at the eastern entrance of the West Bank city of Tubas, confiscated,  on Thursday morning, indigenous plant groves.

Local farmers call the plant "Al Akop" and it grows naturally around the city; the plant is used in cooking.

The farmers sell it as another source of income during winter.

Soldiers claimed that these plant is illegal to be sold in this area, and confiscated them.
