Israeli army troops arrested three members of the Palestinian legislative council from the Hamas Party in Jerusalem, Saturday morning.

 The three were arrested near Ma’ali Adumim settlement near the city and were identified as Mohamed Abu Teer, Ibrahem Abu Salem, and Ahmad Atwan, eyewitnesses reported.

 The PLC members were going to visit Al Quds unvircity in Al Izaria twon near Jerusalem, when Israeli border police arrested them and took them to unknown distention.

Abu Salem was released shortly after the arrest but the other two are still being detained by the army, the sources added.
