The Israeli army troops posted at Huwwara checkpoint, south of the West Bank city of Nablus, detained on Saturday morning dozens of reisdents.

The residents were forced to wait for several hours as soldiers checked their identity cards, and interrogated them while they were heading to school or work.

Also, also troops barred residents of the West Bank cities of Tulkarem and Jenin from crossing checkpoints leading to Ramallah, and the rest of teh West Bank.
