One Palestinian was killed on Tuesday morning as Israeli forces invaded the village of Al-Yamoun, west of Jenin, in the West Bank.  Israeli Forces also wounded 4 citizens and arrested twenty seven others in the West Bank cities of Hebron, Nablus, Tubas and Bethlehem.

In Hebron, Israeli soldiers opened fire towards houses in Al-Fawwar refugee camp, south of the city and wounded four citizens. Three of them suffered from bruises all over their bodies and the fourth was wounded with a metal bullet in the face, local sources told the Palestinian WAFA News Agency.

Twenty seven Palestinians were arrested Tuesday from various parts of the West Bank during Israeli invasions.

In Nablus, Israeli troops arrested four citizens from Raas Al-Ein and Al-Jabal Al-Shamali areas, taking them into an unknown location, security sources said.

In Tubas, a group of Israeli soldiers stormed Tamoun, near the Al-Aghwar Al-Shamaliya area and arrested two citizens, taking them to an unknown location, witnesses told the Palestinian WAFA News Agency.

In Bethlehem, Israeli forces arrested Hatem Abed Al-Fattah 26, from Al-Azza refugee camp, security sources said.

Palestinian sources reported that Samir Fraihat, 21, was killed when he was standing in front of his home in the village, while Israeli army sources claimed that Fraihat had gun and fired at an army patrol.

Fraihat is said to be member of Al-Quds brigade, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad in Palestine.

Earlier it was reported that Palestinians in north Gaza fired three Qassam rockets toward the western Negev area. No injuries or damage were reported.

As Israelis cast their ballots, prolonged the closure imposed on the West Bank.  Israeli police claimed they have received 85 alerts of attacks against Israeli targets.

No Palestinian group claimed responsibility for any of the claimed alerts.
