Israeli army troops and scores of extrimist right wing settlers attacked, on Thursday morning, dozens of farmers and international peace activists while planting trees in the West Bank city of Hebron.
Farmers, Christian Peace Makers Teams (CPT), Red Crescent volunteers and Agricultural Relief volunteers organized celebrated the Land Day in Palestine by planting lands that belong to local farmers from the city.
Soldiers and settlers are preventing the reisdents from arriving to these lands, local sources reported.
Troops arrived in the area, started to force the residents out, detained several activists from CPT, and confiscated their passports; settlers showed up and hurled stones at the farmers, eyewitnesses reported.
