Thursday morning, Israeli soldiers invaded the West Bank city of Bethlehem, several surrounding villages and towns, arrested fifteen residents and took them to unknown destinations.

The Palestine News Network reported that soldiers invaded Bethlehem area from Beit Jala town, Al Obiyyat area,  and from Beit Sahour,  broke into dozens of homes and forced the residents out while searching their properties.

An Israeli military spokesperson reported that soldiers seven Palestinian residents who are said to be members of Palestinian political movements.

The source stated that three of the arrestees are members of the Islamic Jihad, one is a member of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, two members of Fateh movement and one member of Hamas.  

In a separate incident, soldiers installed a sudden checkpoint east of Bethlehem and arrested three residents who were driving a vehicle near Al Rashaida village, east of Bethlehem.

Soldiers handcuffed, blindfolded the three residents and took them to an interrogation camp; soldiers claimed that the three residents carried weapons and ammunition.
