The Popular Resistance Committees, and the Al Aqsa Brigades, demanded the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to apologize for slamming and denouncing the Tel Aviv suicide bombing carried by a suicide bomber of Monday.

"We demand that brother Mahmoud Abbas, Abu Mazin , apologize to the Palestinian people for the harm that he has done," said a joint statement read out by a masked fighter at a press conference in Gaza City.

The statement was signed by the Popular Resistance Committees and three cells of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades, an armed offshoot of Fateh party.

Abbas had strongly denounced the Tel Aviv bombing, which left nine people dead as well as the bomber.

Abbas described the bombing as a “despicable act which harms the struggle of the Palestinian people".
