Israeli army troops stationed at Al Nabi Elias checkpoint south of the West Bank city of Salfet, stopped residents from northern areas of west Bank to cross to the southern areas, Friday morning.
Soldiers stopped the civilian cars and searched them and did not allow residents from Jenin, Tulkarem and Nablus cites from passing, eyewitnesses reported.
This checkpoint links the northern with the southern areas of the West Bank.
